I may live in a tiny apartment in New York City, but somehow I managed to grow over 7 avocado trees. This DIY will require a few months of patience, but seeing your own avocado trees sprouts will truly be the reward.
Materials:
3-4 toothpicks
Mason Jar
Avocado Pit
Water
Instructions:
First, begin by cleaning your avocado pit. You can choose to leave the peel on or peal it off. Next, suspend in a mason jar of water using 3-4 toothpicks. Over time, the roots will grow first, then the stem will shoot up.
NOTE: make sure the seed is always half way submerged in water and placed near a window for indirect light.
