The launch of this platform has re-sparked a beautiful flow of creativity back into my life. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to create a radio show with all of the music that is fueling my heart and soul along the way too.
For those of you new here, I have a background and bachelor's in Radio-TV-Film. Once upon a time, I was a radio/tv host for almost a decade under the name 'DJ D-Dre' and 'Yellow Star Drea.' At the time the rock music scene was thriving, so I called my radio show 'Melodramatic' and played depressing emo/indie music and interviewed a ton of bands.
Now, raise your hand if you were ever emotionally victimized by The Used, Taking Back Sunday, or Yellowcard. (RAISES HAND) Don't even get me started on Dashboard Confessionals...
Jokes aside, producing a new radio show is truly something I will always love and have missed greatly. I'm really happy that I can mix and bring different elements of my past self to share with all of you in present time.
